5 Exercise Moves You Can Do Anywhere!
My first blog post! Well, I must admit it has taken me a while to think of what will be my first blog post, but I've chosen it, and couldn't be happier. As a person who goes to the gym at least 4 days a week, I've experienced the pain of being in a packed gym but that doesn't stop me from doing what I need to do.
Instead of spending precious time waiting for the machines and equipment, I make the most of the available space and so should you by doing these exercises. The great part about them is that the only require a small amount of space so you can do them whether you're stuck at home or even an incredibly packed gym.
The Best Exercises For Small Spaces
Warm Up: High Knees & Step Up- Step Down- These two exercises are great for warmups because they loosen up your muscles before your main workout.
High Knees: 30 seconds- Run on the spot but exaggerate the movement of driving up your knees towards your belly button.
Step Up- Step Down: 30 seconds- Get a block. Stand straight, chest forward and take a step on the block with your right foot. Step down with the same foot and do the same movement with your left foot.
Actual Workout:
Burpees: 3 sets of 10 burpees is the perfect way to make you fit if you don't have a lot of space. Burpees engage major muscle groups such as arms, chest, quads, glutes, hamstrings, and abs and your blood will get pumping with this cardio movement,
Skipping: Skipping is a personal favourite of mine for many reasons including it was the way I lost most weight. Skipping not only helps muscle toning, it improves footwork, balance, coordination, and agility and it gives a full body workout!
Overhead Shoulder Press with Bicep Curls: Doing between 5-10 of these will be very useful. This tones your muscles, strengthens your elusive muscles, like your abs and they're very, very efficient.
